Winter Sun Can Still Cause Skin Cancer

When out enjoying skiing or other winter activities, it is important to know that the sun can still cause skin damage, even in cold weather:

"NHS Devon is warning those going on skiing holidays this winter to protect themselves in the sun.

Public health bosses have issued safe sun advice to holidaymakers focused on three key themes – covering up, protecting eyes and wearing sunscreen.

Devon has some of the highest skin cancer rates in the country and burning can double the risk of getting skin cancer."
